This famous Grade II listed building, located on Cromwell’s Wall on the banks of the Thames, overlooks the finish line of the Henley Royal Regatta course.
It is the perfect location for a wedding or celebration and also offers privacy for a special meeting.
In 1912 King George V and Queen Mary attended the Regatta and it is on record that ‘because of the crowds who attended the Regatta the Grandstand was constructed’. The temporary structure built on the bank of the river proved such a success that in 1913 a permanent structure was erected. The Grandstand Pavilion has undergone many improvements over the years, but still retains the elegance and character it had when first built.
