Everything was well organised and the whole event was a seamless exercise enjoyed by everybody. The meal especially was superb, a view echoed by dozens of guests personally and we would like you to convey our special thanks to the kitchen staff. Neil, too, must be congratulated who, with his staff, worked with effortless efficiency. We did not get a chance to thank him personally at the close.'

'We want to say what a superb day we had last Saturday for our Golden Wedding Luncheon and to thank everyone involved for providing us with such a happy occasion, and especially for organising perfect weather. Everyone commented on how excellent the meal was, so please pass on our congratulations to Chef and his staff for doing such a superb job. In fact several guests said it was one fo the best meals they ahve ever eaten! Throughout the afternoon the Club staff were extremely helpful, looking after our guests with great skill to ensure everyone was served quickly and efficiently. Many people not familiar with the Club commented on what a marvellous setting it is, particularly on a rare English summer's day! 'We very much enjoyed Saturday and by all acounts it went off very well. It was also the sort of day when the Grandstand comes into its own. The event manager, Pietor, was most attentive in looking after us and the buffet was both adequate and tasty. Everything worked fine, the staff were helpful and attentive and the room itself looked very inviting - sun on water is a huge help.
