Scrabble is a word game where two to four players score points by placing tiles, each bearing a single letter, onto a game board which is divided into a 15×15 grid of squares. The tiles must form words which, in crossword fashion, flow left to right in rows or downwards in columns.

Scrabble is a small and friendly interest group which meets every Tuesday morning in the Loddon Room. Two games are played, with a break for coffee in between. For members who are unable to make the Tuesday morning sessions there is also an evening supper with two games, normally on the first Friday of each month.

All levels of ability are warmly welcomed to experience the pleasure of the game with the club.
