Launching the Connaught Lounge

Dining at Phyllis Court Club continues to evolve with new and exciting offerings for Members to enjoy including the all new Connaught Lounge.

 As we head towards Autumn and Winter we reflect on the incredibly successful al fresco dining initiative in the Riverside Pavilion which finished in September and explore the new relaxing dining offering. 

Al fresco saw members treated to sharing platters, tasty ‘shot’ desserts and innovative cocktails. On the second Tuesday of the month Members enjoyed live music which was so popular that the event saw 110 Members on one evening.

Following the clear success, the Connaught Lounge was launched on Tuesday 26th September. It has a sociable ambiance with subtle background music, a live soloist every Thursday and on the second Thursday of the month a live music trio. The Connaught Lounge is based in the Dining Room which is transformed in the middle of the week to a relaxed and cosy, candle lit environment. The dishes are tasty, warm and flavoursome, with plates to share or ‘from the grill’ options.
