‘Sunset on Brighton Beach’ - Dennis Jeffrey

This image was captured late afternoon in December. The ‘warm’ tranquil sunset contrasted with the energy in the waves breaking on shore. I used a ‘neutral density filter’ on the lens which results in a longer shutter speed, creating a visually smooth, calm sea. Fortunately, the bird remained on the post for the full two seconds!
