Podiatrists are able to treat and assess individuals with a variety of foot and leg conditions. These can range from common skin conditions such as fungal infections, psoriasis, eczema, problem nails and hard skin (callus and corns). And more complex issues such as diabetic ulcerations. They are also able to assess and treat musculoskeletal conditions of the lower limb. Such as heel pain (often known as plantar fasciitis), achilles tendon issues, flat feet, bunions, hammer toes.
Henley Podiatry carry out minor surgery with local anaesthetic (for example the removal of ingrown toenails). Podiatrists also specialise in the care of people with complex conditions such as Diabetes which may cause lifelong issues. They are able to carry out assessments which include testing for signs of neuropathy (loss of sensation), circulation and check unusual lesions on the feet which may be of concern.
From October, Jessica will be at the Club on Fridays. If you’d like to arrange an appointment or have any questions please contact Henley Podiatry on 01491 260 320 or email Henley Podiatry.
