We ensure our members have a wide range of activities to participate at Phyllis Court, so there is no chance of being bored. There is something to do every day if you wish. Alternatively you can just make use of your private club membership by enjoying our 18 acres of prime parkland or relaxing next to the river. The choice is yours. Here are just some of the benefits you will experience if you decide to become a member:

There are 30 different interest groups available for members to join, from rowing to jazz and croquet to wine appreciation. From 2018, members will also have access to the Fitness Centre, the new sports and fitness pavilion, which will be equipped with a swimming pool, gym, sauna, aerobics classes and juice bar.

Facilities for Members

Phyllis Court has 17 bedrooms, meeting rooms, three function rooms in the main club-house (all licensed for weddings) plus the wonderfully located Riverside Pavilion (also licensed for weddings), and free Wi-Fi throughout the premises. Four all-weather tennis courts, Four croquet courts, a Rowing Enclosure, Billiards and Snooker Room and a moat for mooring. 

Interest Groups

An array of activities and interest groups await you at Phyllis Court.

Our wide range of interest groups are extremely popular with our members and a great way to socialise and make friends. There are over thirty interest groups to choose from. You might be keen to learn a new creative skill, keep fit, or visit museums and galleries. There really is something for everyone and members often belong to up to five interest groups at any one time.

Interest groups are managed by members, and volunteer committees plan and implement the annual programmes, so you can get as involved as you wish, or just take part.

Phyllis Court is also committed to supporting those in need and our Charity Action Group raises funds for local charities.

History of Phyllis Court Club

In 1906 in Britain when Rolls-Royce LTD was registered, the Bakerloo Line of the London Underground opened, and England Rugby Team played in their first international Rugby match, Phyllis Court Club was founded by Roy Finlay.
