Improve your French conversational skills in a relaxed and fun way with le Groupe Français 

Already fluent in French but don't have much chance to speak it? Great, come along and chat with others who are equally confident. Learned French at school and haven't used it much since? That's fine, too - come and join others who are keen to revive their rusty skills. We have three small groups - advanced, intermediate and 'faux débutant' - so you can join others with a similar linguistic ability. You are completely free to decide which group to join and you can move whenever you wish.

We choose a theme in advance and send out material to help you prepare for the session, if you have time. After a short introduction or video in French you are invited to join your group for the remaining time. Usually a facilitator will accompany you during the discussion. Near the end of the session you can - if you wish - join a small group who will be revising a point of grammar. Or you can continue your discussion. The choice is entirely yours. 

Regular meetings for all levels (improvers, intermediate and advanced speakers) are usually held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 2:00pm to 3:30pm in the Ballroom.
