The Committee is delighted to welcome Terry Mansfield CBE. Terry has enjoyed an illustrious career in publishing across seven decades and is seen as a legend in the industry. From humble origins in Walthamstow to becoming the first Brit to be asked to join the Hearst Corporation Main Board, Terry’s trajectory since starting work at the age of 16 has been truly extraordinary, and he retains his great enthusiasm for magazine media as an active global ambassador for Hearst.
Last year Hearst UK (publications include Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and Good Housekeeping) celebrated Terry’s 50th year of working for the company, making him their longest serving executive. He has supported several organisations throughout his celebrated career, serving as Chairman for Victim Support, as well as supporting the Peace Alliance and Graduate Fashion. He has also held the position of Campaign Board Member for Historic Royal Palaces.
