Classic Motoring Group
A club for the classic car aficionado
Classic Motoring is a friendly, social group and will appeal to anyone with an interest in cars.
The group’s previous events have included a visit to the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, a guided tour of a lovely old Tudor Manor House (Dorney Court), a visit to Frazer Nash in Henley, and Chipping Camden for the Annual Treasure Hunt. The Classic Motoring Group also arranges trips across the UK, including a three-day ‘away break’.
The Club’s annual highlight event ‘Classic Motoring Display’ takes place on August Bank Holiday.
In 2016, to celebrate the 110th Anniversary of Phyllis Court, a magnificent 110-year-old Rolls-Royce (R 526) was positioned at the main entrance,
In 2017 the Classic Motoring Group will visit Winchester, Bovington Tank Museum, Brooklands and Stansted House or Ditchley Park.
