Classical Music

A unique opportunity to experience Classical Music at concerts and talks

The primary purpose of the Classical Music Interest Group is to make concert-going as easy as possible for Phyllis Court members.

We organise tickets and travel by luxury coach to concerts in London and occasionally to the Anvil in Basingstoke. The concerts cover all types of classical music, including opera and the BBC Proms.

We also organise classical concerts held in the Ballroom at the Club. These are open to all Club members, but members of Classical Music benefit from priority seating and a reduced ticket price.

In addition, we arrange periodic members-only illustrated talks on particular music topics.
