CHIEF EXECUTIVE AND CLUB SECRETARY APPOINTED

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Chris Hogan as our Chief Executive and Club Secretary.

Our Board of Directors, known as ‘Council’, carried out a comprehensive search process to recruit for this role. Chris, who will take up his position on 22nd July 2019, was selected by virtue of his experience in private members clubs as well as his exceptional track record in member satisfaction, people management and revenue generation. 

Chris joins Phyllis Court from Royal Southern Yacht Club where he was Chief Executive and Secretary. Prior to his most recent role Chris was the Chief Executive and Club Secretary at the In & Out (Naval and Military Club) during which time he was also elected as Chairman of the Association of London Clubs. 

Commenting on Chris’s appointment Stan Ainsley, Chairman of Club said “Council and I are very pleased to welcome Chris as the new Chief Executive of Phyllis Court Club. He has enjoyed an accomplished career in the military and has since held executive roles in private members clubs and as such he has an excellent understanding of our industry. We are confident that his knowledge and skill set make him the right person to lead our management team and staff.”

Chris, who has family in Hampshire, is thoroughly looking forward to joining Phyllis Court at such an important time in the Club’s development and said “I have known Phyllis Court Club for a number of years and I consider it a privilege to be selected to serve as CEO and Club Secretary.  I look forward to the challenges of such a role and my aim of ensuring member satisfaction will underpin all my work.”
