FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER APPOINTED

Phyllis Court is pleased to welcome Front of House Manager Gonzalo Retamal.

This new role has been created to co-manage all Front of House teams, ensuring the highest possible standard of customer service and therefore Member satisfaction.

Gonzalo has 23 years’ experience in hospitality and  has worked for major brands such as Hilton Hotels and Resorts and the Walt Disney Company. He has worked around the world, in South America, the USA and UK. He also has an intimate knowledge of business, having previously established and run his own restaurant chain ‘Mix.It’ in Chile for 10 years.

Born in Chile, where he spent his early childhood, he then moved to America where he spent most of  his school life, before heading back to South America to complete his degree. The father of three now resides in Milton Keynes  with his wife Virginia and their two daughters Emma (11) and Alina (5), while his eldest Gonzalo (20) is studying in Chile. Explaining the move back to the UK Gonzalo said, “I loved running my own business, but my desire to work in a multifaceted organisation led me to sell up and move back to the UK.” Commenting on his appointment: “I’m really excited to join the team at Phyllis Court Club. This role appealed to me as it will allow me to combine my knowledge of food and beverages with my passion for management, while ensuring that we deliver excellent service  across all areas.”
